Roel Vandebeek completed his studies at the Hogeschool [University College of] Limburg (Genk), faculty of ‘Industrial Design / Product development’ in 1994. During and after his course of training, he won various prices & received various distinctions in design competitions and exhibitions both at home and abroad.
By the end of ’96, Roel Vandebeek started his own design consultancy, Beek Design bvba. Since then he has been working freelance for companies in very diverse sectors of industry: furniture, packaging, household products, lighting etc. He works project-based jointly with architects in the realization of interior projects, showrooms and stand construction.
He is a regular guest lecturer at various courses of training aimed at product development.
